     Posted on the THOIA site, from a 1953 issue of Out Of The Shadows, comes this lovely tale . . .

yikes

I love the title.

     What's great is the blurb at the bottom of the page . . .

wonders!

     At least it is a wholesome tale of flesh-eating zombies, suicide, poison, accidental murder, grave digging, and whatnot. It's guaranteed!
I can vouch for that; there is no cussin' in the story  what-so-ever.

     Let's examine the cover of the issue of Out Of The Shadows the story comes from;

     I think it's great that the ranks of the undead doesn't discriminate in regard to the disabled, but it would really suck to be a wheelchair bound zombie. Bad enough that as a walking zombie one lumbers about at the speed of a drunkard, but in a wheelchair you can't chase victims if they run into a place that is not wheelchair accessible. And while the other zombies at the mall are pursuing people up the stairs, you have to wait for the elevator.
     The PC terms here might be Mobility Impaired Undead, but c'mon, it's a freakin' zombie.
